About My Study Abroad Trip
I have never been much of a traveler but the opportunity of studying abroad has always been very appealing to me. Since I am a biology major, my options seemed to narrow down to Australia and Denmark because they have the two strongest science programs. Part of the reason why I wanted to study abroad was because I wanted to see as much as possible during my experience and travel as much as I could. Therefore, Europe was the best option and thus Denmark was the place.
I am studying biotechnology and drug development in Copenhagen, Denmark and I am extremely excited. I want to go into the field of pharmaceuticals so this seems like the perfect class to jump-start me in the field. I am also taking a class on the Danish language, Danish architecture, and Finance.
Along with being in Copenhagen, my core course, biotechnology and drug development, is taking a trip to Edinburgh, Scotland for a week.
I will also be doing a canoe and hiking trip in Sweden in late September.
I plan to see and go to as many places as I can throughout my time here including Norway, Sweden, Ireland, Iceland, Germany, Italy, France, and the Netherlands.
